I got a Wii on Sunday at Toys R Us. I just happened to be shopping with my niece and asked a salesman and he said they were getting a shipment the following morning. I had to get there at 7 am and they did not open till 9 am, but was well worth it. I would suggest checking with Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, etc. frequently, as the guy at Toys R Us said he did not know about the shipment until the day before. BTW, the system is great. I nearly passed out I was sweating so much playing the boxing game on Wii Sports. You use punching motions to punch the other fighter and have to dance from side to side to dodge punches. It is very cool.

I am not sure if you will get one online, but i know the next shipment into the uk is around the 19th of this month ( thats from a nintendo worker in game today). also i would also keep checking in supermarkets as morrisons had 5 on there shelves for around 4 hours this morning but again around the 19th(unreal but true).
If you get really desperate and want to pay the prices as you see on ebay drop me a line, i could sell you mine(wont be cheap).

If you can't find the Wii in stores, you can buy one from me on ebay. Ebay is very secure when you use PayPal! Here's the URL:

It's going to be really hard to catch them in stores. You can eBay it if you want, but it will cost you much more than retail. If you really want it bad, go to http://www.ebay.com and pay through paypal. Paypal offers great buyer protection and handles all of you financial information so that 900 people don't have it. If you don't have a paypal account, go to http://www.paypal.com and set one up BEFORE you go to buy on eBay. It's easier that way. Both eBay and PayPal have been great to me. Both are also easy to set up accounts with and work together seamlessly. Good luck and happy hunting.

Here's a site that can help you locate local retailers. Once you find one near you, call them before you go so you can reserve it instead of wasting your gas to find out they are sold out.
