All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.

AVG Removes I-Worm/Stration · BackDoor.Generic3.GBB and .GBC · Worm/Generic.FX · Exploit.WMF

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

This is not a real trojan, it is a bug in AVG that was released in their December 6th daily update. There are three step-by-step fixes you can do located here:

This is the only site on the internet at this time that has a solution for this problem.

You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at
http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html
If antivirus and spyware remover software does not work, you can try to restore the computer to an older working configuration. Detailed instructions are posted at http://fixit.in/systemrestore.html

You must not be running an antivirus, or any kind of spyware catching programs. Get Ad-Aware and SpyBot from download.com and either Avast or AVG free antivirus. Install one or or the other of the antivirus, but get one, install and run it.

If I were in your situation, I would just do a fresh install of Windows and delete windows.old after. Make sure you backup anything you don't want to be deleted... it wipes everything
