I bought a cruise for my boyfriend as an Xmas gift. I was a fun way to give it to him though, not just give him a few papers that says we're going on a cruise. On EBay I have purcased a little Southwest airplane, a plastic Princess Cruise ship, postcards from St. Thomas and a mug from St. Maarten. I don't want to arrange them in a basket, I want it to be a bit more challenging, like open one at a time but I don't just want a stack of gifts...what's a good/exciting way to have him open these items that will slowly start to get him mind working and trying to figure how these all tie together?

do a scavanger hunt, start with the little plane and a clue to go to the next spot. end with the envelope with the cruise itinerary in it.

Ok, this is what I would do I would get different size of boxes (boxes that would fit each other). I would stack the littlest boxes to the second box that would fit the third big box and so on…. all in one big box. Starting with the little box or envelope that will be the last thing he will open up, I would put the cruise paper in there. Second box (like a cereal box) which will be the second to the last surprise that he will get would be the air fare tickets in there wrapped around a nice shirt. (But don’t forget to put the little box or the envelope in the cereal box make sure to put it at the bottom) The third biggest box I would buy him some short and/ or flip flops with the mug inside as well. (Don’t forget to put the cereal box in this box on the bottom) make sure to put it at the bottom). And the biggest box which will be the first present he would open would be a picture of a ship or maybe a little toy or something that could represent your love for him…. Maybe a picture of both you guys in a picture frame. If you don’t like that idea of shorts and the flip flops with the picture you can throw in something that you might think that he would like and that will be useful to him in this trip…. But I think it would the last gifts will be the best surprise and the best gift that he will be receiving in the box…and this wont be stack of present it will be One BIG present in which he will be opening different boxes… Good luck and have fun……..

Put them all in a suitcase (you could decorate the suitcase with bows or ribbons if you want) with clothing that would be worn on such a trip. You know what I mean. Anyway do not have them folded but thrown in there covering the wrapped gifts. Have him dig through the suitcase and unwrap the presents on at a time and then after he has opened them all give him a decorative envelope that has the papers inside. Also you should buy some disposable cameras (unless you are going digital) and make sure that is in the suitcase. If you buy the camera(s) you can wrap it/those as well. I think that is a super cool Christmas gift. Hope this helps. Have fun on your trip.

place the gifts thoughout the house or apartment or even with the help of some friends in different places and give him clues and have him follow the clues to find the gifts with the last clue taking him to either the airport or a harbor (if you have a harbor near you). It may make him slightly crazy but that way he can become something of a detective too. Merry Christmas and have fun with giving him this gift. :)

Put the plane on the tree like an ornament with a clue attatched telling him how to find the ship, a clue on the ship to find the mug etc. Have fun.

The first thing I thought of was to bake a cake and put the airplane and the ship on it. Send out the postcards to him - one a week. Serve him hot chocolate in the mug on Christmas Eve or morning. Give him written clues to send him all over the house that finally bring him back to the tree to find the tickets hidden on the tree.

here is what you do you take boxes and you take each gift and you place each gift in the boxes but you wrap each box inside the other sorta as the nesting effects and you keep making the boxes smaller and smaller and you place the tickets in the smallest box but you have to start with a huge box and work your way down and oh yeah use lots of tape and you should also use lots of news paper and stuff to stuff the boxes as like a surprize so each box is a new surprize and it is the best and funnies way to do it remember start with the biggest box you can get your hands on and stuff it with all the stuff as packing stuff as he opens the boxes you will know he will be getting closer to what you got him the most exciting so remember layer each of the gifts in the boxes as a nesting effect and use lots of tape

addressed in his name, ( have a friend do the writting )..no return address...then be an actress everytime one comes...have the last one arrive xmas eve, then a nice card with the tickets in it under the tree...

hopefully he'll not get it till he sees the tickets..but get your acting shoes on...!
