Thinking that you won't get pregnant having unprotected sex because you are having your period. Use a condom.
Its totally up to you if you want to do it, dogs do when they are in heat...to get pregnant...see the connection?

basically the same risk factors as having sex when you aren't on your period, except this time there is the risk of being bloody =P

The exact same as the risks of having sex when your not on your period. - pregnancy, STD's, etc.

technically, you can still get pregnant but it is more unlikely. but, you are still able to get STDs so use a condom still! dont let the guy tell you that you can't get pregnant or an std...they will say anything!! exercise your right to be informed about your body!

You should seek a doctors advice. Some people get pregnant during that time or some get pregnant when they ovulating. either way you should seek professional advice.
