Yes there are. According to poetry rules, only the last syllable has to rhyme. Therefore purple rhymes with people and apple.

Why should there be a word that rhymes with purple? When creating a language I doubt that everyone decided that "right guys, we've just come up with this brililant new word, now we need to make up another one that rhymes with it."

Do you know why they said that?

Because when they were inventing language I doubt brilliant was one of the first words they cam up with! Unless someone invented it whilst exclaiming something was brilliant...

Seriously though, look at the structure of the word - as soon as the [urp] sound hasbeen formed in the mouth a completely seperate [le] sound has to be formed, not a natural word unlike many others that just roll off the tongue!

Because there isn't!!---and there isn't one for "orange" either!!

And all those that claim there IS - have lost the plot!

Don't give me your pseudo arty-farty crappy - "Well, actually, according to the rules of poetry" or "Well, really, if you just"...

If it don't SOUND like it - it don't rhyme!

Well, that's MY spleen vented for another 24 hours!

you could near rhyme with turtle or gerbil, or you could make it out of tow words such as this:

he could not resist her pull
for her eyes were the deepest purple

then it is in how you read it out loud.
