I like pete doherty, he is an intelligent man with the creativity of a new age poet, his ideas are free like the wind, but i guess his drug habits may put people off.

He is not asking to be judged though, all he wants or wanted was for his music and thoughts to be heard,

so what if he does drugs, who really gives two flying f*cks?
And for christ sake stop slating the guy as an idiot, just because you do drugs doesnt mean you're not intelligent it just means you want to have fun or you are hiding from something, and after all it is a personal choice.

Pete is so sexy though, i mean i wouln't say no,

he dosent do just any drugs, hes a dirty fking smackhead who takes the filthiest of all drugs.

if he didn't have the money he had from fame he would be a mugger or a burglar by now living in a dirty **** covered smelly house with a bunch of addicts fuking his friends over at every chance he got for another bag of smack.

what message does it send out to others who see him as cool...

and how can you call him intelligent when he does what he does? anyone with half a brain would say no.

as you can tell i don't like him.

pete chose his lifestyle knowing that fame is a difficult thing to deal with, after all every one famous is always in the papers for something. It is a shame because pete could have everything, the money , the girl and the right type of fame, but it is because he is doing drugs that he is getting bad press and every one thinks he is an idiot. Of course as soon as he became famous he was asking to be judged because that is the media for you, every one is judged there is no escaping it!

Cant believe you think he's intelligent. The guy is a prize ****! He is self obsessed and respects nothing not even himself. Did you ever see what he did to Kate Moss's RENTED cottage? They were and old couple who rented it out in perfect nick until that tosser got his **** in there. What a nice fella. If that was my place drugs would be the last of his worries.
How many times have people tried to help him? He's way past that and i agree with the other answers that he's scum.
Do us a favour and get a life.
A poet my ****!!
I doubt he could spell his own name.
Also your attitude towards the scourge of society makes me think your a smack head too.
Excuses, excuses.

that's marvelous what a splash bit recognition and money can do. Ugh. the guy is dropping his important information, and that i don't think of of he's a sturdy place form for each guy or woman. He might desire to truly be dealt with extra effective harshly in my opinion. I agree that heroin is a detrimental habit - I used to stay in a hostel and have seen a concepts too many first rate, stable people develop into snarled pin-freaks because of this. He needless to say needs help to return lower back off the drugs, helpful, yet he additionally needs to appreciate that his behaviour isn't suited. I submit to in ideas back in 2004, he grew to grow to be into voted 'Coolest guy indoors the international' (or something the two idiotic) via ability of NME readers. That alarmed me extra suitable than a splash, as he grew to grow to be into indoors the technique quite some addictions, grew to grow to be into lined in sores via applying his habit, and had thoroughly snarled his courting together with his band. It grew to grow to be into at that component i realised that i might substitute into too previous and too clever for what replaced into my time-honored song magazine. even though if people like it or not, as a remember of actuality that this guy is indoors the normally happening public eye. he's seen to be a cultural icon. I delight in that he did not ask for this, and it would desire to be stressful to handle, yet his place ability that he does have a diverse volume of accountability for putting an social gathering. saying that 'Heroin is accountable, not Pete' is ridiculous, i'm sorry. optimistic, heroin is an undesirable substance that people in the present day and actually get addicted to, yet inspite of in spite of subjects he had that led him to objective the drug, Pete did this to himself. Or did somebody stress the 1st few hits into his arm till now he have been given hooked?? Edit: RTF - A stages? What an totally absurd assumption. Do 4 A-stages, a 1st form BA, an MA, and a PhD count style volume?

I would defo say no, hes a waste of space and feel sorry for his unborn child! If you think this guy is intelligent you need to get out more and actually meet an intelligent person! This guy would be in jail by now if he wasnt famous, he just keeps getting away with things cos of his stardom.

I disagree if he wasn't a rich man from music, he'd ponce off his rich daddy. Half of his problems probably stem from his relationship with his father. I for one don't care wether anyone takes drugs but he revels on flaunting it to his fans and the general public. We'll judge how creative he is in time, I don't think he has the talent to be talked about by future generations.

What is he doing walking the streets, never mind driving around London with a pocket full of drugs? - is he driving under the influence of this sh!t?

Sexy, where the hell do you get that from?! He is a trampy dirty smackhead. If he had a stolen dvd player in his hand instead of a guitar, he'd be any other smackhead limping about the streets.

He's a deluded fool. If all he wants to do is get his crappy lyrics heard then why does he do things like jumping onto cars outside of the courtroom? He's a nob who thinks he's a genius. He's read too many copies of NME and wants to be worshipped. I did see him on Johnathan Ross and he was sweet and intelligent and I do believe he loves Kate Moss but he needs to get a job he can do and stop taking the drugs - permanently - or he'll just forever be an idiotic junkie nobody to me.

i don't really care what he does. just because someone does drugs doesn't mean they are a horrible person, but he doesn't have a lifestyle that i could ever relate to. it's his choice, though. he is going to have to tone things down a little if he and kate have kids, though!

wasted talent. its disappointing in this day and age that we uphold the whole 'tortured genius' theory as an excuse for reckless behaviour. he was a good musician with loads of potential who got caught up in his own hype and let his bad boy persona become his whole being rather than just one aspect of him. there really is no excuse for shooting heroin into the arm of an unconscious fan! but i do like him...i feel sorry for him and hopes he sorts himself out
