Well, I think that you can use one of your distractions as inspiration for keeping up with school. "your wife" can be what motivates you to really work hard, so that you can accomplish whatever you are aiming for at school; you can think about how your life will change if you really succeed at school; how it will be so much better for you and your wife, perhaps even for your children in the future. That's what I do, I think about the future, about the trips I want to take and the things I want to accomplish. You can also try studying or doing your homework at another places, places that don't have those distractions like the library, a park, or just a quiet place. Stay away from cell phones, computers, mp3 players, etc and concentrate on your homework. If you need help with memorization or just to keep yourself concentrated on something try this recipe a friend taught me:
mix in a glass container 5 drops of essential carnation oil, 6 drops of lavender oil, 3 drops of pepper mint oil, and 5 drops of rosemary oil. Take 10 deep breath into the glass container every hour and it will help you maintain your concentration!! (try it, it works for me)

Just think of what your alternatives are: you can either get your homework done, do well in college, get a degree, then get a great job -- or you could just work at McDonalds for the rest of your life. Think of the possibilities in the long term - it will get your *** in gear!

go to the library, it's away from all distractions. Look at your life, the way you want it and the way that you don't want it and that should help you say motivated to make those grades and get that degree so that you can have the life that you want to live.

I get easily distracted too, so I go ahead and do my hw and readings at the school library (mostly in the quiet area). It motivates me to get it done.

Think about how much you'll be bumming if you get a crappy job after you're done with school....because you couldn't buckle down, study hard, and learn something useful!!
