How can I (or others) stop nasty steryotyping of others?

Yeah, but friends of mine chratigorize peoples. likes b**tchs, dumb blondes, etc.
some old guy walking past my park bench was complaining abouut imagigration and poor people; that bastard I wanted to punch him.

we can only change ourselves. hopefully by our actions we can influence others.

lock them in a room for about an hour until they get the stereotypes cleared up. pull out the survivors.
no honestly, education, and preferably meeting a few of the people they stereotype is the only way.

You answered your own question. The sterotypes aren't in others, they are in your perception of others. Open your eyes and your heart and you will see through the Love of God which makes all things clear.

steryotyping is part of standards so therefore if we keep going in the direction of not holding people to a standard level of behavior and social norms in the US...then yes, you'll get your wish.

You cannot, nor can anyone else. Stereotyping is usually based on at least a modicum of truth which is to say that we have all seen at least one person who fits the particular stereotype being discussed.
