Iranians are wonderful people. Both the Us government and the Iranian government are waging a political game that's been going on for decades. The United States came to Iran in 1953 and killed people to keep the Shah in power. Iranians used to adore America until this atrocity. If any of us wonders why the post-revolutionary Iranian government tries to get US's goat, read the book "All the Shah's Men" by Steven Kinzer. The 1979 hostage situation had been brewing since 1953. We have an obligation to find out the truth. I can totally understand David's frustration. He respects people from other cultures and is just looking for the same reciprocity. If people all reached to one another in exchanging cultural nuances, the world would be more beautiful.
