What are the pros & cons? Should I get one or two?

Retard, I love mice- they're cute and I'm not a guy. And since you probably thought I was- where did I say it was for someone. Bring your stupidity elsewhere.

They don't smell at the store. =P
Hmmmm..... I've also heard many good things about mice. I suppose a hamster... aren't they harder to take care of?

I'd get a pet rat instead of a mouse. Rats are friendlier, bigger, easier to handle, less apt to get lost in the house and less apt to bite. Hamsters are mean, Mice are fast. Rats are smart, nice and make wonderful pets.

Biggest Problem... Owning a Rodent (or certain things mistaken as Rodents) attacks more REAL Rodents.

So people that own those little caged critters like Rats, Mice, and Hamsters,.. find themselves dealing with the shock of Mice & Rats in their house. Another thing that happens some times is the attracted rodents will kill the pet some how.

Added: Rats, Mice, Gerbils, and Hamsters all have different problems that are equally as annoying. Mice are the cutest and since research has been dealing with them so long you could look around for a good breeder for a healthy Mouse. I have dealt with Rats,.. I helpped with some Rats that were the first to play sports. They only seem easier to handle because they are longer... if you end up with one with an attitude you can't deal with it.
If I were to be seeking pets in this range I would get a Sugar Glider or Flying Squirral (they are anontomically very different,.. I did research on them,.. I don't even know why XD They are just worth stareing at) but that is just me and my opinun.
[Just incase anyone is wondering,.. Sugar Gliders are not Flying Squirrals, Flying Squirrals are not Sugar Gliders. I think Sugar Gliders are Marsupial (I'm not totally sure,.. just know t feels like they are that different) & Flying Squirrals are more closely related to Chipmunks (Chipmunks are a type of Squirral).]

If you want a small furry pet a hamster is a better idea - mice smell really bad, something in their urine just reeks! I've had all kinds of rodents as pets - ahmsters, gerbils and mice - by far, the mice were the stinkiest!
