The concept of minimum wage is going.The unemployment is increasing.Outsourcing is cheap and minimise the category of regular employees.In future,wages will depend on supply and demand for labour.If you want to get employed get it as early.If you have got skill/technical knowledge,best thing may be own business/self employment.

That's at total sham because in six months or less all the prices you pay for things will go up to compensate the employers for giving you that raise so you stay in the same place financially.It a placebo for the masses, total farce.
