Ladies Pinafores

Are you asking if a wrap around pinafore apron is just for use by an old lady ?
Or do you want to know where to buy one?
The answer to the first part is probably yes, I doubt that younger women would wear one. I think you would buy them from an older type haberdashery shop, if not try mail order companies. They are worn still in the north of England, in places like Lancashire.

The haberdashery shop idea is right. The sort with net curtains, and weird cushion covers in the window. Catch one before it closes - our local one went the way of all flesh just a few months ago.

The alternative, if your sewing skills are up to it, is to steal one from a sleeping old person, copy the pattern on to dressmaker's paper or newspaper, and run one up yourself. Most of the originals would have been homemade anyway. You will need binding for the edges as well as cotton fabric.

There are also a few sites on the internet that sell patterns for vintage clothing, which is what this is really.
