1. 2001 Miami Hurricanes - won over Nebraska 37-14

3. 2004 USC Trojans - won over Oklahoma 55-19
4. 1999 FSU Seminoles - won over VT 46-29
5. 2005 Texas Longhorns - won over USC 41-38 (ended 34 game win streak.)

Note: Interestingly enough, in 95 Penn State was a scoring machine but did not get a chance to play Nebraska and in 04 Auburn was undefeated and didn't get a chance to play USC.
My real choice as the best college football team I've ever seen as far as total dominance goes is the 1976 Pittsburgh Panthers with Tony Dorsett. They were awesome with a 12-0 record and a 27-3 drubbing of #2 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. Good question sir!
