I have a B.A in public relations but my career in that is not doing so well. Ever since my uncle 2 years ago had cancer and then some other relatives, I had an interest in oncology nursing. I really think its something i would be good at but some people have been tell me not to bother. Im so confused right now. Has anyone ever done something like this? and how did it go for them

I have a degree in social work. The pay is not good at all, so I would never do it again. But, if you think you would like to do nursing, I say go for it. There is a strong demand for nurses, and the pay is great. Also, if you like your job it always makes it worth it. There are plenty of people that go back to school for nursing. Also some of your classes may transfer. Good luck!
