I'm looking for a reasonably priced printer maybe around £100 ($200), which can do it all- print, scan, copy, print photos up to a4 size. One that is pretty economical with ink replacements would be helpful too. Is there such a device out there?

DO NOT buy Lexmark, waste of money. HP and Epson are the best, more so with Epson.

I recommend Epson, following your guidelines. The 4 color DX6000 is under £100. There are other models even cheaper. Ink is available for under £1 per color on eBay. This is because you only replace ink, not the print head every time. According to their UK Web Page, Epson has been #1 there for the past few years!

For those of us who live under the stars and stripes, A4 is 8.3 x 11.7 inches. Epson prints some fabulous 8 x 10 borderless pictures! I have been an Epson fan for 20 years!

I also go the cheap route...I keep a Dell A920 (same as a Lexmark X1150) running day and night at my office! I refill my own ink for 25¢ (10p)! I have modified it to use the Lexmark 16, 17, 26 & 27 cartridges.

Is there a Costco there? If not, you can order from their web site and get it shipped. I got a great HP 1510xi All-In-One printer for less than $50 (after rebate). It also copies and scans and, because I bought it at Costco, it has a lifetime guarantee. It looks just like the Photosmart C3150 now on their web site. It works very well. I previously had an Epson. Their support was excellent, but that printer died. Everything except computers that you buy from Costco is guaranteed for life.

coloration inkjet printers have been furnishings in maximum small businesses for some years. they are decrease priced (under $60 from time to time), final a pair of years and all and sundry makes use of them. so they may be the perfect place of work procedures, ideal? maybe no longer. once you do the maths on printing, inkjets may be able to value you a good purchase extra desirable than you recognize.
