When the pass was made to Giuly, it appears that Gudjohnsen was clearly in an offside position. Shouldn't an offside flag be raised when he became part of the play?

Actuly when Giuly passed the ball Gudjohnsen was not in an offside position but i think that there was an offside because Gudjohnsen was in offside when Rolandinho passed the ball to Giuly and i think Gudjohnsen got benifit of his offside position so it was an offside

No that wasn't offside!!
Guily wasn't offside and he made a backpass to Gudjohnsen so its not considered offside..

Yes, everybody's pondering over that decision. But now, there's nothing that can be done about it. Anyway, after all the linesmen are also human and sometimes the electrifying atmosphere leads to such confusion filled decisions

It did look like he might've been offside, but there is nothing to be done about it now.
