Death is inevitable, whether we want it or not. To answer your question, I wouldn't like to have eternal life if that's what you mean, I rather go with the normal cycle of existence.

Death isn't too scary for me, since I've come close to it once already. The only thing that daunts me is the pain that may accompany it.
I'd at least like to live long enough to know the joys of grandparenthood, but just to keep living because I'm afraid to die doesn't have any appeal for me.
Death is a home going for me, where I'll have a non-perishable body that works better than my earthly one ever did. It's also the natural culmination of life, so "fearing the reaper" is pretty far down my list of terrors.

Fear of the unknown. man in biblical times lived well into the hundreds.Because of defects or changes with in our cells the age dropped drastically.
My theory is simply, we know live into or eighties and some beyond. If you ask these people they say they have lived to long. They seen loved ones go, as well as friends.Do you not think that most of the biblical people would have preyed to the Lord our god to end this form of suffering?
I would chose to die early in life in hope to reach the heavens before my sins where a burden and I could not enter heaven for the wickedness that went before me.Not to mention the love without regret, the unconditional love that one experiences upon death. The feeling like you have always belonged and been loved without expectations, or apprehension. You no longer have an ego or a feeling of self, but a togetherness. Is this not better then what we feel know, or are forced to behave like

I wouldn't say that I necessarily want to die but we all know that we're going to. Its the cycle of life>>>>Living and Dying. Everyone has a time and we don't know when that is so it is up to us as believers to make the best of it and do everything pleasing to God.

When my time to die comes, then so be it. I would not want to live forever because I'd see everyone and everything die around me and I'd get really tired of seeing history repeat itself.

Don't want to die at the moment, no. Give me a couple of days, that'll probably change.

Since I've done both, I would prefer not to.
