I would've been a Republican but the evangelicals have a hold on it. Fiscal conservatism was an appealing thing about the GOP but now they're just panderers to the Christian fundamentalists something I abhor. Goldwater wouldn't be happy where his party is and I just want fiscal issues to matter not social issues.
