Well if you didn't actually use it on the person it would be a misdemeanor intimidation charge, punishable with fines and up to two years jail time. That's if you don't have a previous record.

I wouldn't do. Just the same as a gun if you pick it up you better be ready to use it. Because that person me get in a very defensive mode and things can get pretty ugly real fast. Don't do it girl. Find another way.

assault with a deadly weapon, felony...if you actually hit them then it would be assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and perhaps attemted murder
