I'm on the pill and have never been able to skip a period by just continuing taking a second turn of pills right after the first one is done.
I have almost 2 weeks left of the set I'm on now.. but I'm going to a wedding during the week that I'm going to have my period. IS THERE ANY WAY FOR ME TO AVOID THIS? Can I make myself have my period earlier if I go to the strongest pills right now and skipping some of the middle ones? Or how can I for sure skip a period since I have never been able to before? I just get it anyways a few days later....

Probably not; but you can try stop taking the pills and see if it causes you to get your period. Though instead you may just start spotting for awhile. Everyone's different.

Have you thought of doing the shot instead of pills? I'm the same way with pills- I never did skip a period. But with the shot I never get one.

That will NOT WORK.
If your pills go three weeks on, one week off, you should NOT take less than three weeks at a time, because you may become pregnant. So if you skip 'middle' ones you may become pregnant and then you'll have to wait for another month of doing it properly before you can stop using backup contraception. (So you're looking at about 7-8 weeks of using a backup.)

Your body probably won't build up enough tissue to shed even if you did try to get one early. Your best bet is to just try to take the next pack right afterwards - it might at least make it lighter.

Skip the pills the week before the wedding, just take the sugar pills. And then the week of the wedding, start up a new pack of pills.

Talk with you gynocologist, pharmacist, or health department. You may be able to read the pamphlet they gave you with the pills from your pharmacy.
