how long does it take a for a betta fish to be fully grown?

From about the time there born can how long are there to be grown. maybe not full grown but grown, get what I am saying?

2-5 months depending on how it is kept and what it is fed. Bettas kept in big, warm tanks mature faster and more colourful.
