I believe you will - a friend of mine buys from ebay all the time using paypal - he had two complaints and his money were refunded

you can most probably find more info on their (paypal) site - I believe they have some minimum or maximum amounts that they can refund and some other conditions but for 140 pounds you should have no problem

Contact Pay pal immediately and register your problems. I can give you a link that deals with Payapl & Ebay transactions through Paypal. PayPal is one of the most popular online money transfer systems widely used for online auctions, pay to surf programs, e-books and purchase of low value goods. It is now a part of the online auction website eBay. More details available at

PayPal is not meant to be insurance. If your PayPal account is linked to your bank account, the money is likely gone if paypal isn't able to cancel it. Now, if you linked your PayPal account to a credit card (which everyone should do), you can contact the credit card company and tell them to cancel the charge and no money will be taken. Hope you used a credit card.

That depends, lets hope that the paypal source you transferred your money to was the actual llegitimate paypal site. Also they should cover youy, but you should immediately call their customer support hotline so that yourf transaction protection doesnt expire. good luck!

First you will have to file a claim with Pay Pal then they will review the case. It will take several weeks to complete their investigation.
I have done this twice on improperly described items and have won case and lost the other. Hope this helps

I've been scammed before. I got my money back. it's a good idea to switch over any left over money to another account if you do get it back though. these ppl have your info now and you don't want them messing with you again later, when things simmer down.
