I like a mix of both - today = Fall Out Boy, Muse, past = Queen, and of course there are those band who have been around a while and are still making great music = Green Day, U2.

From someone who lived through the 70s and 80s no contest, most of today's so called music is trash.

All the best stuff had been done by 1972.
Since then it has just been a re-hash of the same old stuff, all that electronic rubbish etc. I do respect Slash though.
And as for rap, i do not even class that as music I'm afraid.

It makes me feel old (Only 29!) but past music definately.
Modern stuff is so dull, and I don't just mean pop - in all genres it has gone downhill - Dance, Rock, Rap etc.

it relies upon on how previous we are - youthful era do compared to stylish, because they prefer some type of 'ideas booster'. I belong to the pre-warfare era and my decision is previous music yet i love right now music tooo to make me experience youthful
