General TSO, definitely. Here's why: sweet 'n' sour chicken as prepared in the States is served in a sticky sweet red corn syrup sauce - all sweet, no sour. It's awful! Like pouring maple syrup over your meal!
I've been to China, and thankfully, no Chinese eat like that! Ack. In fact, I find American "Chinese" restaurants are too sweet and too greasy, nothing like the real thing...and that's too bad, because Chinese food is amazing in its variety and creativity.
