It could be said that in Africa in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries,a religious missionary, used his powers of induction to persuade the un-educated natives to believe in his God. He would have told them wondrous tales of magical miracles, of bringing the dead back to life etc. This would both frighten and amaze these people into believing the missionary .Powerfull induction ( persuasion) is a very cheap and useful tool.
