Unlike the Yahoo! Answers Team the trolls and bigots work in round-the-clock shifts 24/7/365. So it doesn't really matter that some of them are asleep. And remember, it takes very few bad apples to spoil an entire applecart. Just one of these hatemongers can sometimes bring an entire forum of this kind to its knees. Also we are living in a new global society. There are Yahoo! Answers users living in every time zone of the world. The truth is the sun that once never set on the British empire now never sets on Yahoo! Answers. But the Y!A Team has yet to realize that. They seem still to be working only one 8 hour shift a day, five days a week and no weekends or holidays. How can they expect to win this war when they don't even bother to man (or woman) the battle stations?

Because the internet is awake 24/7 and so is half of the world... And a population of that half log in to the LGBT section of Yahoo answers to mess around, provoke a reaction, or to seriously bash the gay community. And since yahoo answers is open to everyone, then we should be ready to inform, engage, ignore or empathize with anyone.
