I think it's got to do with people hogging all the tables in lounges to keep others from playing ,if lounge is full it will not let you in using normal log in methods. here is the fix for that.
Here is an easy fast way into games. And it by-passes log in problems. Go to http://www.shove-it.com find game select lounge page you want to play. Click on file, send, desk-top short cut. Or add to your favorites. This gives you a straight link to shove it. Now click on a lounge, it will take you to yahoo games log in page. Log in, then minimize log in window while its loading. Now click the lounge link again and open the log in window back up. Your in. nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that’s full or not. Good luck with your games.

your stuck in the same boat as many other yahoo spades players, apparently ive found out since this problem has started there are not any other good spades sights on the net, ive tried a couple new ones yesterday when i first noticed the problem. i thought it might be my computer, erased then reloaded my java script, no dice, still didnt work. I did noticed a small nuber of people seemed to be able to get into the rooms somehow. but it seems to be another problem with yahoo, mix this with lag, you have just created a opportunity for another web site that actually cares about keeping their customers to steal some from yahoo... im soo very tired of this.

I don't even know how I'm able to answer your question... Due to depression, from lack of yahoo spades... I'm in great dis-pare myself... I must really need help myself.. BUT INSTEAD OF GOING TO BED AND COVERING MY HEAD , AND JUST LAYING THERE ALL DAY, I will either play spades with the computer, which is on regular desktop computers , or I will play HEARTS ( CARDS ) ON YAHOO. I can enter those rooms, .. But I do prefer SPADES.. SOO YAHOOOO FIXXXX THE PROBLEM... you are causing many innocent people problems

try this.......if it is the yahoo servers having the problem at least you will be all up2date if you do the below
If you cant log into chat/games it is because
Yahoo's browser has issues with SUN java as default.
Yahoo is Java dependant.
This is also the reason for the games applets not loading and some
web cam issues.
The easiest fix is to update....... windows updates.. as well as

omfg the spades rooms are still out it seems anyone with java 1.5 cant get in?
