If you are uncomfortable with a male gynecologist, maybe there are some female doctors in your area. Even General Practitioners can perform basic gyno exams. I myself see a female Certified Midwife/Nurse Practitioner in my local Gyn/OB office.

If you are uncomfortable try and see a female doctor, get referrals from people you trust. But don't let embarrasment keep you from getting proper medical care or advisable checkups, us men do that enough and we die early because of it.

Most gynecologists will comfort you. Mine is great she talks me through everything. If you are relaxed, then it shouldn't really bother you. If you can't relax though, if may feel a little uncomfortable. It is very important to go see one. Eventually you will have to, so why wait.

No its not wierd, they don't really care because they see so many people a day. your first time is a bit uncomfortable but after that its okay.

Don't even worry about it! They went to school just to look at people's "stuff". You should definetely go to the gyno though.....your health is too important to not go.

doctors are professionals,they don't look at you in a sexual way,they see you as another person closer to the next big check,you ll be fine.
