You cant use U.S. postage to mail a postcard from Mexico BUT if you are sending a post card to Mexico, it costs $.63 or 2 stamps.
In easier terms no you must get the postage from Mexico!

You must use Mexican postage to send mail from within Mexico to any country outside of it. The first link is to the home page of the Mexican postal service; the second to the page with postage rates. Up to 20 grams in weight is $9.50 pesos.

they sell the postage stamps to send letters to mexico at the post office, they cost i think .60 cents or up. something like that. but you cant use it to send postage from mexico you must buy mexican postage to send to the U.S

One should be fine, but slap a few on it just to make sure. You don't have to have Mexican stamps to send something to Mexico. I was on vacation in Mexico and sent a postcard to the US and I bought a few Mexican stamps to put on it just to be safe.
