The Calender has been messed with a Couple times.

So Jesus died around Christmas and was Born around Easter.

Quit bothering God or expecting him to do something personally for you,.. if you want to ask his help,.. ask it for a large area or all of Humanity,.. quit bothering him because your about to eat food or you need to win the lottery or... you want to convert people on Yahoo! Answers!

The area of Time Christmas has taken up is still the same function of old. Get together with family, get a break from working,.. give money to a bunch of strangers (shopping) just to give gifts you won't use (to friends, family, and people you do know), stay warm, fed, and rested,.. remember there will be a brigther tomorrow,...

Tell me when a Church decides to both Admit the Truth about these things and to Not have a Scam running for money (actually use it on what they say instead of sticking it in their pockets) and I will give them a little attention before going online to rant to and help others.

My answers are in my words, aren't they.

Ya i believe in God...and Yes Jesus is the center of Christmas to me. Unfortunately, the world today has lost the meaning of the season and chooses to believe in a "marketing holiday" other than believing the truth.

I believe in God, and Jesus is not really the center of Christmas still today. I think we should work on trying to celebrat what Christmas is really about and point out that it is not just about presents. I love presents as much as the next person, but it's not all about that.

Yes, I believe in God, And that Jesus is still the center of Christmas in your heart. Even in this confused world we live in now, it helps to keep it there if you attend Church and gather with other people who still celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ.
The marketing of toys to diamonds and everything in between, do lead people in the wrong direction. It's no wonder people get depressed this time of year.
Now people will say "Happy Holidays", as opposed to the traditional "Merry Christmas". This was done, as not to offend other religion(s). Personally I respect other peoples religion, but I still say "Merry Christmas". I figure they'll get over it, after all it's my right to practice what I preach, and preach what I practice.

Yes I believe in God, and no I dont think that Jesus is the center of Christmas. It is his birthday but the main day for him is Easter, because that is the day of his resurection, and the reason we honor him as our saviour. Christmas is a day to count our blessings and appreciate and thank God for all his wonders, and to spend time with family and love all. for that is what Jesus died for. For us to be happy and have the freedom to love whom we love.

first of all, thanks for your independent interest. Pagans have a good time yuletide on the shortest day of the 365 days (round Dec. 21), which celebrates the lengthening of days. that is often celebrated as a vacation of rebirth. different pagans ought to have a good time different vacation searching on their traditions. even with the actual shown truth that i'm pagan I nonetheless have a good time yuletide and change presents with my kinfolk and pals. i'm of the opinion that Christmas has a lot to do with giving to others, and hence is a good vacation, regardless of who it honors. Christmas borrowed a lot of traditions from paganism, besides. as well, i experience all dieties are both genuine, so I have not some thing hostile to it on that the front. although, i comprehend some pagans experience that Christmas replaced into stolen from pagan traditions, and has been over commercialized, and hence they're firmly hostile to it. It truly relies upon on the guy and their beliefs and traditions.

The overall biblical objective is not to "believe" (even devils "believe": James 2:19), but rather to "know": John 8:32. Know-ing the truth makes you free of believe-ing the lies.

No other holiday has more lies attached than Christmas.
