It's an interesting thing... Here's a good example.
In the skinhead scene there are basically 2 varieties: the ever popular neo-nazi racist, and non-racist (that's minimalizing it, but for sake of argument i'll save you the details). In the non-racist faction there are some groups that are MILITANT against racism. Groups like S.H.A.R.P (SkinHeads Against Racial Prejiduce) and A.R.A (Anti-Racist Action) activily seek out neo-nazis and in some cases assault them with intent to kill. Essentially it's hate killing hate. Some non-racist skinheads view SHARP and ARA as just as bad as nazis.
