I think it's got to do with people hogging all the tables in lounges to keep others from playing ,if lounge is full it will not let you in using normal log in methods. here is the fix for that.
Here is an easy fast way into games. And it by-passes log in problems. Go to http://www.shove-it.com find game select lounge page you want to play. Click on file, send, desk-top short cut. Or add to your favorites. This gives you a straight link to shove it. Now click on a lounge, it will take you to yahoo games log in page. Log in, then minimize log in window while its loading. Now click the lounge link again and open the log in window back up. Your in. nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that’s full or not. Good luck with your games.

Check to make sure you have pop up blockers turned off, the most up to date version of Java software installed, and that your firewall is not blocking the site in any way. Also refresh the page your on a few times to make sure it's not just your internet browser acting funny.
I also always recommend rebooting your PC as a first step when something is not working correctly. This solves 95% of problems right off the bat.

while you are waiting make sure you are all up2date......especially if you use that ridiculous cup of coffee java........Virtual Machine is far better...plus i just logged into 4 spades rooms
If you cant log into chat/games it is because
Yahoo's browser has issues with SUN java as default.
Yahoo is Java dependant.
This is also the reason for the games applets not loading and some
web cam issues.
The easiest fix is to update....... windows updates.. as well as

just go in and read all the other depressed spades players questions and answers , and whalla you have your answer.. I DO FEEL YOUR PAIN ... ( ITS A PROBLEM WITH YAHOO ) .. On a positive note at least your not sitting there lagging , and hoping not to get thrown out of the room.. DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY .
