Mary's been openly gay for years and was a long time gay rep for Coors Beer. Yet when Kerry, Edwards brought this up in gay marriage debate, they were slammed for outing her.

I find it hilarious that the Repubs are obviously disgusted by homosexuals and flaunt that fact every chance they get, yet they get upset when someone else brings up the vice president's gay daughter. Can you say hypocrites?

Once again, they are grasping at straws. When a Dem points out someones' sexual orientation, it is not to pick on them. It is to simply make a point to Republicans that they also have homosexuals in their party as well. Not all De ms/Libs are gay, nor support abortion.

They were not slammed for outing her, they were slammed for attacking a family member who was not in public office.
This is similar to the attacks the GOP got for attacking Kerry's wife for swearing at reporters and their attacks that her company (Heinz 57) had outsourced 5000 jobs to foreign countries in the 90's.

The thing is, Kerry hurt himself by slamming her and outing her.
Actually, I could give a damn who is gay. I am not, don't want to be. Its like being a vegetarian. I think its stupid, but instead of spending my day fretting about it... I just have another pork chop.
