Has a family member that died been an organ donor and his organ gone to someone that you were able to meet later? I have heard of families that would meet and feel an immediate connection ~ from the organ being placed in their family member!

My aunt passed away and was an organ donor. I have not met the recipients yet, but I would like to.

I am going to ask the organ recovery agency to send a letter of mine to the recipients to see if any of them would like to meet. I want them to know what my aunt was like, so they can appreciate the source of their gift of life even more.

Donated my kidneys, now I can't pee.
Donated my eyes, now I can't see.
I'd donate my ticker, if I had a heart.
The essence of life, I leave in this fart!
