I commend you for stopping but it just is not a safe thing to do.. Don't do it again....
Don't be offended, just be happy that your damn truck actually works...

I have experienced much the same thing before. I was walking out of my office and there was an older gentleman standing under the breezeway. He had gone for a walk and got caught in the rain. I initially was going to offer to take him back home, because I had seen him walking during the day several times and figured he was harmless. I didn't at first, but then I went back once I got in my car and asked him if I could help him and apologized for not asking him sooner. He said "No honey, a little thing like yourself doesn't need to be giving rides to strangers, I didn't even ask because I would've been upset if my daughter did the same thing"... so maybe they didn't expect you to help them because of the possibility of danger with a young, small woman stopping to help three big men. Probably also an ego factor there, too. Men don't want to appear helpless.

2. possible reasons why.
1. No offense, but your a girl. Most guys don't expect a girl to help with something as trying to dig a truck out of snow or carry any tools or know anything about cars for that matter.
2. They might of been stuck there for a while and were hoping that it would be a dude that could help them out and wouldn't want to leave their truck there and prefer that they dug it out.
in a few words, some guys are stubborn (like me) and some of us prefer a little more muscle especially if we want our cars or trucks rescued. But at least I would of said thanks for getting me out of the snow and giving me a ride.
to answer your question. I find it a bit rude maybe a bit offended but nothing to get worked up about.

Honestly its either they were hard headed guys or thats not what was in their minds. I wouldn't think twice about it if I were u. I do think these guys should have removed the scarves from their eyes cuz if I saw u, I would have got stuck in the snow just so u would come help me out. Of course I'd make it up to u in any number of ways u wish.

I'm sorry that they acted like that. If you had a 4x4, they should have gladly accepted your help. Some stereotypes are hard to get past. And your right, there might be some loss of face if a girl helps them out. Oh well, we can't change the world at once, but maybe one person at a time. You were a good person for just wanting to stop.

I actually would be happy they didn't want my help. Maybe they were crazy and were looking for someone to kill and you weren't the one. Or if you had stopped they could have raped you so be happy they didn't want your help! If you had a cell phone you could have called 911 and told them there was a truck on the side of the road that needed help. That might have made you feel better.

I would be offended if i were you.
I would not be offended if a woman - or a group of women - stopped to help me if i was stuck in the snow.
I would be very grateful.
And i know this because it happened to me. My car was stuck and wasn't going anywhere, but two women driving by saw me and stopped to help. They pushed me out by hand. I will never forget that.
You should have called the police and reported these jerks for illegal parking.

No, I wouldn't have been offended if someone had stopped. Every time I've ever been broke down no one stopped at all! That sucks big time; but I guess I kind of understand people's fear to stop and help strangers now days.

they probably needed someone stronger than you. Don't be offended, you didn't have to help. It's a gift when you help people and if they waved you on, then it's there problem, they'll stand in the snow longer.
