Because there is a very high probability of damaging your ear drum... which is very painful and affects your hearing... Most Doctors recommend not putting anything in your ears smaller than your elbows.

because u will push obstruction further down the ear canal

best to go to chemist and get liquid fluid to drip lotion in to disperse obstruction assuming its wax if after a week still a problem then have ear syringed

my son had a rubber of the end of a pencil lodged in his ear , at the hospital they told him not to stick anything smaller than his elbow in his ear ...in other words dont put anthing in as it could cause damage , the ear is self cleaning hence the wax

It is not always bad becos it helps people suffering from sinusitis by preventing headaches. however it is possible you might forget about them and they might end up deep inside your ear and you'll have to see a doctor to have them extricated. Or they might get wet while bathing and cause ear infections.

becouse generaly you will push any wax ferther in and you may damage the ear drum.
