I do alright on EBay. The thing is, you have to sell what you know. I'm into 1960s Batman, Star Wars, The Beatles, and guitars, and that is mostly what I sell. Now don't go thinking you can do just EBay and not have a full time job, it doesn't work that way. It's a great way to supplement your income, but shouldn't be your only source.
And don't listen to people who say that the fees are too high, they are fairly reasonable. Other sites may be cheaper, but they don't draw as many people as EBay, You can't expect to get great service for free.
I figure the fees into the starting price or reserve price for the item.

And Rebel Chick, that's about the grossest thing I've ever heard of!

A while back yes it was great. Now the large companies have jumped on eBay. They can offer bigger discounts and they can afford the $500 per month premium placements.

My biggest gripe with eBay is they will nickle and dime you to death when listing an item. They charge a fee for every little thing. I list a few items once in a while. If you have to list an item multiple times befor it is sold it just eats up your profits.

And on the free listing days is when I list a lot of items.

Give it a try.

Yes and no. Because of the fact that someone could use your identity to sell stuff or even get your information. And the other way around if you buy in bulk you can sell at retail on ebay.

I don't know about Ebay but on Amazon I have made close to $950 in 4 months. It pays to get rid of junk.
