Actually, there are some SUPERB colleges that have recently decided to make standardized tests optional. Their reasoning is that some outstanding students simply do not test well, and that the standardized tests have historically discriminated against certain student populations.

You may find schools that do not require them -- but all of the GOOD schools require at least one.

a way around this is to go to community college then transfer to a major university it a bit cheaper and gets you ready for the challenge
