it depends on the values of the individual, just because they are gay doesn't mean they vote a certain way. many vote democrat because that is the party that supports them more, but many also vote republican if they support most conservative beliefs.

I would imagine that it varies depending on the individual. The same answer would apply. Much of the gay community supports the democratic party. However I can't speak for the entire gay population as opinions and affiliations do vary from person to person.

Seeing as it was the current republican President who opposes gay marriage along with many other republican senators whereas several democratic senators have legalized gay marriage in their states you would conclude that having the same rights and tax privileges that married couples receive that homosexuals would tend to be liberals.

I'm libertarian but we're not strong enough yet to get things done. The Democrats have enough power to get the equality that I want so I vote Democrat.

It is just as varied as the heterosexual support that political parties get. There are gay democrats, gay republicans, gay liberals... ect...

i would say that it's probably the same as the rest of the country - 25 % democrat
25% republican
10% other
and 40% don't care about politics.

well I'm republican but don't agree with every party line just as I'm sure it's the same way with people that are democrats
