Saw I is the first movie that comes to my mind (I didn't see Saw II or III yet) because it was pretty ****** up. As sickening or harsh as it was, it surely made you feel lucky to be alive.

SPOILER WARNING (in case you haven't seen it): All the ways that people died made me cringe, and appreciative of the fact that I probably wouldn't have to die in those ways. Also, when you find out that the killer was dying of cancer (I think?) it all connected as to why he would do that, and lastingly proved quite a point that we shouldn't take life for granted, and that to the best of our ability we should live a good life. I'm not at all saying the killer had the right to play god or put the law in his own hands though.

Bruce Almighty - Jim C's character take's Jen A's character for granted till she leaves him. Come to think of it, he kinda takes God for granted too.
