Yes if you look at it a little differently. How about a favorite actor or actress from a show that is no longer on tv. You miss seeing them but you never met them.

Yes. I have a pal in California we work on cases together long distance and I miss him sometimes. Never met him but will in a couple of weeks.

I sure do. I totally know the feeling. It depends though if you "know" them but haven't met them. I like someone that I "know" but we've never met...and so yea I think it's very possible, if not 100% possible!

Heck yeah! I have a few good friends on yahoo messanger and if I don't talk to some of them, I start to miss them. lol. And i'm like "oh just get online already!" lol

Sure - especially if that person took up a large part of your day either in reality or in your thoughts. There are many ways we integrate people into our lives - and more and more proximity is not a prerequisite.
