I thought ashtrays were those things on the side of a car that go up and down. Or are they trashcans? Seems like both, from what I catch going down the road.
If cars don't need them, why do I? At least I put my smoke out on my boot before I toss it.

ummm is that a serious question?? I don't know anyone who can smoke while riding a bike. Let alone worry about an ashtray. I mean seriously with all that wind in your face how could you smoke? Anyhow if you are really worried about it. Rig one up!

Because smoking will kill you. Besides, the ash won;t stay in the ashtray. It will swirl around.

Mine has a cigarette lighter but no ashtray. Never pondered that before.
