One of my favorites is brave saint saturn. They aren't like a local band or anything, and the artist has other bands that people love, but no one has heard of them. They're incredible.

1.) Billy Joel (Just plain...the best)
2.) Crowded House (Most meaningful music and excellent lyrics)
3.) John Butler Trio (John Butler is the only guitarist in the band and, he makes hendrix look like a pretty little girl.)
4.) Aerosmith (Cmon, it's aerosmith.)
5.) Incubus (Just cool, and also very meaningful music.)

I like many bands in the dance spectrum. Some of my absolute favourites are Orbital (techno), Alice Deejay (trance), DJ Hype (drum and bass), Basement Jaxx (punk/house), Daft Punk (shiny techno!) and Fatboy Slim (big beat).

Any one of them that sing country. Like Lonestar, Rascall Flatts, Alabama. I also like some rock acts like Bon Jovi and Aerosmith. Also, the solo artists like Garth Brooks ( I love him. I'd marry him if he weren't already. lol) Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban etc... I also like Madonna, Janet and Michael Jackson (you heard me right. I like his music). I basically like all kinds of music except most Heavy Metal (Old Guns and Roses are alright.Not the new bunch of fakes Axel Rose has now) most rap and can't stand Opera. You couldn't pay me enough money in the world to listen to opera music. lol
I also like the old acts like The Rolling Stones, Beatles, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley too.
