sell it on ebay

The first thing is to try selling them back to the school bookstore where you bought them. If the textbooks are too old then I would I would see if a used bookstore in your area would take them. Some do some don't. Next I would try to see if you could sell them online, that would most likely work too, especially if someone is looking for one of those books and is trying to find it cheaper than what the bookstore is selling it for. The last thing I would do is maybe post an add concerning it or asking around to see if someone needs any of those books. If all that fails I do that there is a charity taking old textbooks and sending them to Africa to help out in the countries over there. My parents donated a lot of their old textbooks there (they had a number of textbooks from the 70's and 80's concerning math). Local charities would probably take them too.

Sell them back to the school or a book store. As long as a new edition is not out most schools will buy them back from you. Or put them on Craigs list.

If they are still being used in the school you can sell them back to the school (you won't get much money though). Or you can sell them on ebay.

If they are old, give them to the goodwill or post them on your local chapter of freecycle.org

I strongly advise you not to. This is a really bad decision. You will need to refer to them and refresh your memory from time to time and the replacement cost will be through the roof.
