Depends on whether it was an expensive pen or not. Is it a ballpoint, roller ball, fountain pen? Try either a big stationery shop with a specialist pen counter or a small family firm to see if they have a refill. The shops in between can't be bothered with anything but the standard Parker/Papermate/Sheaffer refills.
It is possible they may have a refill that will fit even if it is not a Lamy one. In my own shop I stock lots of refills to try to help customers with a favourite pen but I have to admit it takes more time than it is worth trying to find a match as there is a huge variety and most people lose their pens before they run out.

You can find sellers on the internet but the one I sampled wanted a £3.95 delivery charge for small orders.
