Sorry to sound so pessimistic, but why do we even HAVE life? What if we were all just a big accident in the creation of the universe? Then, no one knows our meaning, and I think maybe that's exactly why people ASK this question. Also, it goes with the idea of "cause and effect". We, as people seem to believe that for every action, there's a cause. What if, when it comes to life, there's not a reason? Is that REALLY so hard for people to grasp? I think so, becasue we've all been conditioned to believe that everything has a cause, even regressing as far back as to the cause of the creation of the world (creationism vs. evolution). We simply can't handle the truth, and that's why we try to justify EVERYTHING with a cause.

Why would you want to know? Knowing only takes the fun out of living. There wouldnt be anything to look forward to when you wake up. You would know whats going to happen, and whats the fun in that. Remember life is full of unexpectations. So just take life as it comes. Enjoy, cry a little, get mad, and then, laugh a whole lot. Like the saying goes, Some things in life are better left unanswered.

Everyone's interpritation of the meaning of life is going to be different. Mine is that we were created to live our lives by God's, but every day that passes changes the human viewpoint on God, Jesus, and what we are here for. I beleave we were put here to struggle through life and then at the end of it all if God believes we ahve done a good enough job and been faithful enough that we will be invited to go and live with him for all time. Personally I don't see how a lot of people keep their faith, what with satan being amoung us and him trying to trick us into sinning, but that will soon be over and when it is we will all or at least those who survive the judgement day will find out the total and true meaning of life. If this confused you, then look at it this way. We were put here to live anf to suffer and at the end of life as we know it we will be judged. After we are judged we will either burn for all time or live in the kingdom of heaven for ever and ever.

People place their own values and meanings on life. Life is ultimately what you MAKE it mean.

Life is a wonderful gift from the creator of all that exists. It is our opportunity to experience love but also hate, joy but also sorrow, kindness but also selfishness, mercy but also injustice. You have important work to do during life and important choices to make concerning all of these experiences. Hopefully, you fulfill in your own way the flowering of your own spirit in your own unique way so that you may return to God as a spiritual being that is a wiser, kinder, more loving and in all other ways a closer representation of God who made us in his/her image.

Life is a cab ride-- once you get in, the meter starts ticking. You sit in traffic and go nowhere, but that meter keeps on ticking.
Even if you make a wrong turn, that meter STILL keeps ticking.

The meaning of life is plain and simple... Everyone asks them selves aleast once a day, why am i here? what is my purpose in life here on earth, Why did God put me here...
Answer: Is simple

We are all here for one reason and one reason only. And that is to learn about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and worship him and follow in his path so we can spend eternity with Our Father , God and his Son Jesus.
That is it that is the only reason why we are all here. if you are a doctor lawyer, minister, general worker, that is fine, that is your choise to do in life. As long as you are taking the time to spread the word and glory of God, then you are doing it right. so the meaning of life is God!!
