I want to go to college as a vet(possibly in texas)

It is very difficult to get into Vet school. I know people who went to medical schools because they couldn't get into Veterinary Schools.
There are only 27 Vet schools in the country. Most will give preference to residents of the state they are in (and possibly a neighboring state if there is an agreement). It is extremely difficult to get into these schools if you are not a resident.
The only Vet school in Texas is Texas A&M.

Most noted vet school in Texas is at Texas A&M in college station.
