Both, all people should be important in your life. Your parents bring you in to the world, teach you all you know and then let you go your own way or at least they sould.
A good friend should also be there no matter what and hopefully for life.

friends can be as important if not more than parents it really depends on the relationship you have with that person. . .I think friends are more important because when you stay friends for a long time it takes a lot of effort on both parts . . .you chose your friends but are born into your family.

Parents?Family perhaps.Best friends may be there for you for the time being but anything can happen that may cause the friendship to break up. Parents, no matter how much you hate them, they are the ones that will always bring you the memories and comfort to you. So i guess it has to be parents.

you can't compare best friends with parents..they both different than eachother..U share things with friends , u respect ur parents..u have ur personality from ur parents and share that with ur friends..whatever u r just coz ur parents don't forget that..so respect ur parents first and then share ur goodness to ur friends..so both important in ur life ..so step by step comes like Parents, Urself and best friends...

i would say parents cause they are always there no matter the situation and sometimes best friends will just leave you there if you were in trouble and parents no matter what they are there

Parents .....They are and they always should be important ..U can have friends ...at every corner and can be replaced ..Bt u cant replace parents .....for nothing ...They will nevr leave and go u in ur thick and thin times......I BELIVE OTHER NAME OF GOD IS PARENTS .....rest u have to decide ....
