A woman that suffers from penis envy, has an inferiority complex, is sexually frustrated, and blames others for her problems. Not surprisingly, those are many of the same characteristics of a psychopath.

“What *is* a feminist? I love the differences in genders. I love that some responsibilities come more naturally to a woman and some to a man. I don’t want to be a man. I love being a woman.”

Some women, some men. I love being a women too, most feminists do. Who needs testicles anyway, silly ugly little things. Just kidding. Love your testicles, gentlemen. I just don’t want them.

“I find it ironic that people I’d deem as major feminists seem like they want to be men. It seems like some of those women devalue the intrisic [sp] beauty and responsibilities we already have as women.”

Again, some women, even most women. There are lots of different women, with lots of different dispositions. And I have yet to meet a feminist who want to be a man. Maybe they weren’t ‘major’ enough.

Here’s the thing. I obviously don’t think of ‘feminist’ the same way that many do. Frankly, I get frustrated with this kind of thing. Why do so many women spend so much time telling me all the reasons why they Love all the progress that feminists have fought so hard for, and yet reject the word.

“I love equal pay, I love that I can vote, and own property and get a divorce if my husband is beating me. I love that I can have an opinion that will be taken seriously. I love wearing pants. I love that I can go to school and get a job and do anything I want. But I’m NOT a feminist.”

Ugh!

Feminist does not mean you want to be a man, why would some people think that? Feminist does not mean you reject motherhood as unimportant, just the opposite. Feminism is about choices for women, and valuing women in all our needs and differences and ambitions. Whatever they may be. Darnit!

And since my floors are still not quite done (can you believe that!) and I don’t have as much time to blog as I would like, I’ll just ask this question . . .

When some hear feminist, they hear "man-hating". "man-wanna-be" (isn’t that oxymoronish). I hear feminist and think that women and women’s things are important and worth fighting for.

When you hear the word “feminist” What do you hear?

A man or woman who acknowledges the inequality of gender in our society and wants equal rights for both men and women. Stereotypes of feminists "fat angry lesbians who want to be men" are a result of political backlash and anti-intellectualism. No equal rights movement was free from that or the extremists. Change doesn't happen over night or without resistance from both sides.

A feminist is nothing more than a person, either a man OR a woman, who believes that both sexes should have equal rights and opportunities.

A femininny has no real movement; it's just a frustrated reaction to the fact that men aren't manly any more. So the poor girl is lost but thinks she's heading somewhere.

Except for the rich femininnies. They want to double the power of their class by making it acceptable for women to be bosses.

A woman who hates men, yet tries and yearns so desperately to be one. Somehow this woman manages to defy nature and eventually grows a pair of fangs in her vagina. At the end of this evolution is an old, childless hag with more hair on her legs and underarms (and face) than her dozens of cats.

A feminist is someone who SAYS they want everyone to have equal rights, but MEANS they want everyone to have equal outcomes. If women need a head start to acheive that, they get one. If men need a head start to acheive that, they have to take it like a man.

This is why you see things like female firefighters. They have to have help to do their job. I don't know about you, but if I have to get carried out of a burning building, I want someone who is fully capable of doing the job on his own.

There are no true feminists. At one time or another, they will partake in activities that are against pure feminist ideals. Feminism is almost a religion, if it is not.

A feminist is against the traditional role of women. The radicals might be completely against marriage, for free sex, for annihilation of all men and using artificial insemination, for the end of the authority of men over women, and for atheism or pagan religions.
