Michael Richards is a spineless weakling. He has anger issues and maybe he does have racial issues. The gentleman who heckled Richards was right: he's not funny. That's not heckling the wrong way. If he said "You suck, you cracker-&ss $@#&*& and attacked him or his family personally, then that's heckling the wrong way. What Richards did was the equivalent of giving the death penalty for speeding. Inexcusable. Now, after he has seen what happened, he is bending over backwards, wiping everyone's behinds, groveling, etc. No matter what he does, he's finished. So he should have just apologized and disappeared off the radar screen for a long time. I do hope he is really searching deep within himself rather than putting on an act to save his dead career.
Another point you made: "We are all somewhat racist subconscoiusly". Really? Wrong. It's all how you view the world. I get angry at the person, not the race or color of his/her skin. We all bleed the same color blood, our internal organs are the same whether we're black, white, purple with pink polka-dots.
One more comment: the man whom Richards heckled is suing him for monetary damages. In my eyes, that's wrong. He should just take Richards behind a building and just beat the tar out of him. But if he's suing, I want to sue also because I now can't watch Seinfeld anymore without looking at Kramer and seeing a groveling Grand Wizard. And that damage$ me.

So do I. All he was doing was demonstrating to the black racists how it feels to be heckled as if they didn't know that.
I feel very sorry for him. He got caught up in circumstances and the news media loves to get wind of some instances, and always sensationalize them. I don't believe Michael is racist. Yes, good that he is searching within himself. Yes, I wish everyone would just drop it. I have, I hope you can too.

I think he is like the rest of us. Not a racist just frustrated with certain people from different ethnic groups. I have said things to people of a different race that would be labled racist when they have pissed me off. We have all done it that doesn't make us racist. I am a blond female and I have been called that by so many people it's the same thing .....that doesn't mean racist.
Racism is commonly defined as a belief or doctrine where inherent biological differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, with a corollary that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.[1]
The term racism is sometimes used to refer to preference for one's own ethnic group (ethnocentrism),[2] fear of foreigners (xenophobia), views or preferences against interbreeding of the races (miscegenation),[3] and nationalism,[4], and/or a generalization of a specific group of people (stereotype); regardless of any explicit belief in superiority or inferiority embedded within such views or preferences. Racism has been used in attempts to justify social discrimination, racial segregation and violence, including genocide. Politicians are known to practice race-baiting in an effort to win constituents.
The term racist, when used to describe someone who supports racism, has been a pejorative term since at least the 1940s, and the identification of a group or person as racist is nearly always controversial.

I don't know him personally so I can't say for sure if he's a racist or not. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he let his anger at several black guys put him into a rage- which by itself says he may have an anger management issue- and he used racially charged language due to anger towards these specific people, and not blacks in general.

He's not a racist. I'm not angry with him, and I don't feel sorry for him. Those black boys asked for it.
The racists are the new black panthers, farrakahn followers, and the former professor who stated publicly that the white race needs to be exterminated.

People give him too much credit. Heck, he is just a stupid actor. What do you expect of him? Be a role model because he played third banana on the Seinfeld show?
